Background:

It all started back in 1988 when the people of Meltham near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, UK, helped to raise money for a water pump and well for a village called Kyema in Masindi (Uganda). Then along with Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Methodist Circuit in Wales (UK) raised money to build a community centre which opened in 1996.

Since then we have flourished and we hope to carry on growing just like a mustard seed. Aid projects are a daunting concept, they require large sums of money to be raised through local appeals by dedicated volunteers.
