Background:

It all started back in 1988 when the people of Meltham near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, UK, helped to raise money for a water pump and well for a village called Kyema in Masindi (Uganda). Then along with Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Methodist Circuit in Wales (UK) raised money to build a community centre which opened in 1996.  

 

Community Centre built mainly with donations from Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Methodist Circuit in Wales (UK). It is a centre for excellence providing almost total needs of the community.

Parental instructions to Mustard Seed Children in life skills. Mustard Seed Children sharing a meal together.  Community shops. Rent helps to maintain centre.  Library  to encourage adult literacy. Junior section to interest children.  Play group facility to encourage early learning skills and sharing.

                                  

This  community centre site is still being developed. Current development includes provision of a nursery and playground. These features will be added as soon as they are completed.
