Background: It all started back
in 1988 when the people of Meltham near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, UK,
helped to raise money for a water pump and well for a village called Kyema in
Masindi (Uganda). Then along with Ebbw Vale and Tredegar Methodist Circuit
in Wales (UK) raised money to build a community centre which opened in
1996.

This community centre site is still being developed. Current development includes provision of a nursery and playground. These features will be added as soon as they are completed.
